Hi Allan,
I’m a non-resident online freelancer with with clients outside of my country of residence.
If I decide to incorporate down the road, I would like to do so in Canada because of more online banking options (specifically quebec, as no directors need to be residents).
I would like to know if that transition down the road would be easier if I stay as a freelancer, or if opening a sole proprietorship in my country of residence would complicate a Canadian incorporation down the road?
For what it’s worth, I’m a Canadian citizen who lives in Peru and there is a tax treaty between both countries.
Thank you!
