    1. Hi Bonnie,
Keep one copy of the T4 slip for your records and provide another copy to the employee. Send all employees’ T4 slips together with a T4 Summary to the CRA for processing.

  1. In the summary of remuneration Paid, field 82 can I consider the Federal payroll deductions ARREARS or only Federal Payroll deductions Regular?

    1. Hi Marcela,
If you properly deducted taxes and made the correct amount of payroll remittances each month, then the total of box 80 (total payroll deductions) should equal the amount in box 82 (total payroll remittances). In other words, box 82 represents regular federal payroll remittances.

  2. “Send all employees’ T4 slips together with a T4 Summary to the CRA for processing.”
How do you send it to CRA? By mail? Or can it be online?

    1. You can file online through the CRA’s website. See this link for instructions https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/filing-information-returns-electronically-t4-t5-other-types-returns-overview.html

  3. Hello,
Box 22-Income tax deducted, is this the sum of CPP, EI and Tax deductions on income for each payroll or is it just the sum of total tax deductions on income for the entire year?

    Thanks!
