Thanks for your detailed response to my previous questions. Really appreciate it. Just a few questions more:

1. When you say it is better to send a copy of the T1-Amended return, along with the T1-Adj form. Do you mean to say just send the first 4 pages of the T1-General jacket for each of the 8 years?

Or the entire T1- General return with all the schedules, benefits & claims, slips etc attached? That would run in hundreds of pages!

2. Also do we need to include the bank statements of 8 years for the foreign bank account. And explaining in detail, each & every deposit and withdrawal made in them? Again this will go into hundreds of lines! Or do we NOT include them. Or maybe we do include them, but just explain the yearly interest earned on it, not each & every deposit in it.

3. Almost all the money sent to the foreign bank account was sent from Canadian bank account in numerous transactions as outward foreign remittances. This is AFTER tax dollars we are talking about. Totally legal and white money. So do we include 8 years of Canadian bank account statements also. And again explain each & every withdrawal, remittances and deposit in it? This will again be hundreds of lines!

4. Also the money was sent through a Canadian bank account to the Foreign bank account in numerous transactions using third party remittance services like TRANSFER WISE, Remitly, XE etc as they give better exchange rates than Canadian banks for outward remittances from Canada. So do we need to include each and every remittance statement from these third party remittance services like WISE, XE etc.

If all the above are included the VDP package will be huge! Running into hundreds of documents! Does CRA expect all of this & has the time to go through all of it? Or do they need something more clear & concise. And you put everything in an Excel sheet or something and just include only the corresponding concise document. Don’t want the VDP to be incomplete and get it rejected, at the same time don’t want to send unnecessary documents to CRA and confuse them.

Sorry for all the questions and to bother you at this time of the tax year!
