Hi,
I emigrated from Canada last year and have already filed my emigration documents with CRA. I have also paid my departure tax. I do have couple of credit cards from Canadian banks. Can I still use them regularly?
I understand that it can be treated as secondary tie but in my case since departure is already done. Does it matter?

The answer depends on whether you moved to a country with a tax treaty with Canada. If you moved to a non-treaty country, I recommend cancelling your Canadian credit cards or, at the very least, keeping no more than one. If you moved to a treaty country (e.g., the United States), having multiple Canadian credit cards is considered a minor secondary tie and won’t affect your residency status on its own.
